When CBS needed custom music to promote one of their hit shows, Judge Judy, they called Megatrax.

The Judge Judy producers could not use library cues for the spot as they needed specific lyrics to match the dialogue. They required the music scored to picture, and - like many of our clients - they required a speedy turnaround on a minimal budget.

The perfect track, the producers explained, would contain a lyrical hook of "No-No" and would be built around hip-hop beat with attitude. Working with CBS, we quickly turned around a custom track that fit the spot perfectly after presenting their team with various options. 

Accomplished media composer and studio musician Fred Kron expertly scored the spot. Not only has he produced dozens of albums for Megatrax, but he has also contributed to numerous film, TV, and recording projects, including Wreck It Ralph And High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

We recorded the cue free of charge to the client, and it will be re-purposed for eventual release in the Megatrax library, making this a win/win situation for CBS and Megatrax.
